FESTIVAL DIRECTOR

Cynthia Bergen

A Native San Antonian. Writer/Producer/Photographer, Cynthia Bergen has been a participant the film society since 2009, an which she established her own business “The Vintage Club Stories, LLC”. It all started for Cynthia writing short stories that Professors at St. Phillips College, took notice and encouraged her move forward. Shortly after she self-published her first book of Short Stories, based on true life events, The Vintage club Stories Vol l; Dark Cloud, Strange Places, A Dogs Tale, which can be found on Amazon prime, Barnes & Nobles. Local Directors began to become aware of Cynthia’s work which progressed to the development of short films. Writer/Director Isaac Rodriquez, joined Force in 2014 and the collaboration of “No Sleep Films” was established. As of to date we have completed multiple award-winning short films, and feature films that have been screened in over 900 film festivals all over the world in which several have gone viral. Now Cynthia is embarking on a new adventure as Director of Horrorific Women Film Festival.

Allison Victoria-Wolfe

Allison Victoria-Wolfe is a true superstar who’s been lighting up the entertainment scene for 15 remarkable years! With her impressive resume boasting over 50 motion pictures and television programs, she’s not just a talented performer but also a passionate advocate for her fellow artists. As the Secretary of the Houston/Austin SAG-AFTRA Local, she ensures that the voices of her peers are heard loud and clear. Additionally, her role as the SAG-AFTRA Representative for the Gulf Coast AFL-CIO showcases her commitment to workers’ rights in the industry. And let’s not forget that she’s a proud member of the National SAG-AFTRA Young Performer’s Committee, where she’s shaping the future of talent. Allison is not just making waves; she’s creating a whole ocean of opportunity and inspiration!

EVENT COORDINATORS

Aurora Sandoval

Aurora Sandoval is a writer and actress who has lived in San Antonio for most of her life. She produced her first film, Impact, in 2024 with Gloria Bueno and Kevin Barton. Although she used to fear almost everything, horror has become her favorite genre to watch and write.  This is her first year working for the Horrific Women Film Festival, and she hopes to continue to work with them again!

Krista Sauceda

Queen Cujo is a Central Texas indie horror filmmaker.

She started out in wardrobe, special fx make-up and production design in small projects before her directorial debut with Lucy The Lycan(2021) which debuted at the Houston Horror Film Festival and the Austin After Dark Film Festival. Following her love of the independent spirit she started 10/14 Productions to work on her full feature length film Dead Flowers(currently in production). Along with writing and directing she has produced two up and coming films Pool Party Massacre 2 and Daryl Hook’s SsssStoner Snake.

Abigale Robinson

Abigale Robinson is an award-winning filmmaker, actress, and SFX artist based out of Houston, TX. Originally beginning her film journey with the passion for horror movies, Abby has now worked over 30 short films, two music videos, multiple photoshoots, youtube videos, three feature-length films, and a web series. She currently works part-time as a production assistant and freelance SFX & Makeup artist at Abn0rmal MUA. Her dream is to one day work as a full-time SFX artist on the set of House of the Dragon or the live-action One Piece series.

Alexandria Payne

Born in Houston, Alexandria knew she had a passion for filmmaking at a young age. After graduating high school she decided to move to Austin and pursue acting full time. After working on countless productions she realized her true passion is horror. She plans to start writing, directing, and producing her own films with an emphasis on unique storytelling and the ‘final girl’ trope.

Gloria Bueno

With her interest in performing and creating, Gloria is a multi-dimensional artist in San Antonio, Texas since 2010. She has worked on many local film projects around texas, primarily San Antonio with production companies such “The No Sleep Channel” where she would get her start and venture out in the horror film genre.  For over a decade, Gloria has not only become a local film actress but she would incorporate her love for performance through burlesque (Haus of Erotique troupe), live body paint performances (Beyond The Tanvas), photography, writing her own short horror stories (Glo’s Dark Tales) and now her newest  journey with music (stage name Brilla)  You can find her floating all over the city, event after event- giving people great memories and good entertainment. When she is not out pouring her heart on venue stages, she is at home creating more and publishing it on her social media platforms which you can find her on.

Cory Brooks

Born and raised in El Paso Texas, Cory now resides in her little ghost town just outside of Sabinal TX. with her horses, mini cow, guard cats, screeching birds, and big speckled dog.  Owning a ghost town has introduced Cory to wonderful new people in the entertainment industry and opened several opportunities with the interest in using it for movie locations, video shoots, and photo ops.  
Cory had the great fortune to grow up surrounded by a variety of musical, artistic and theatrical influences.  As she got older she would DJ and host karaoke at local bars, enjoy small parts in movies and theater, taught line dancing and was the drummer for a never known 80’s cover band called Ladies and the Tramp.  Eventually Cory got hired on working in radio doing production, writing commercials, doing voice work, on air talent, sales and promotions.  A little later in life she even discovered her stand up comedy funny bone, began doing stand up at local venues around the San Antonio area and loves the sound of laughter.  

Vania Vasquez

Vania is a writer, director, and lover of monsters. After watching too many scary movies as a kid, she resolved herself to joining the cinematic world of horror. Vania’s credits include her debut short film Altar of Venus and regular production support for No Sleep Films, an independent production company that specializes in horror.

Daniel, the face behind “Midnight Movie Trash,” is a dedicated interviewer, filmmaker, and lifelong enthusiast of all things horror. He is known for his passion for the genre, evident through his collection of physical media and his active engagement within the horror community.
